Origin of the Convergent Networks is in the ATM technology (Asyncronous Transfer Mode) that, paradoxically, is being implemented since 1990s over a syncronous Telecommunications network interconnected by Fiber Optics named Sincronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH).

IP version 6 (IPv6)

In his origin Internet was a network that allowed the interconnection of USA government's computer networks and it was designed from a protocol named Internet Protocol (IP), that has the peculiarity to allow communications using different paths, or routes, saving possible link losses in an automatic way.

Cloud Computing

Cloud Computing is not a new concept as it pretends do believe. Firsts computers had a central CPU that was accessed by remote terminals in an analogous form as the applications and/or services on Internet are accessed today.
