Juan Ruzafa obtains UNE-ISO/IEC 20000 certification

Dated February 24, 2010, following the strategy in offering value services and to help its clients to improve its ICT services' quality, Juan Ruzafa obtained the certification Foundations in ICT Management  according to UNE-ISO/IEC 20000.

The ISO/IEC 20000 standard is aimed to guarantee the adoption of a quality model in the processes for the delivery of ICT services managed in a way that complies with business requirements of the clients. ISO 20000 is the international standard that has its origin in the British standard BS15000, that collects a set of best practices included in ITIL for the ICT services provision and management. In Spain receives the name UNE-ISO/IEC 20000 and is integrated within the set of standards regulated by AENOR.

The certification in ISO/IEC 20000 is of two types: personal and company. The personal certification warrants that the possessor knows standards adopted by the ISO standard/IEC 20000 on processes of management and ICT service delivery, whereas the certification of company anounces that an organisation has adopted the standard for some specific activities and it has passed an external audit that gives the official stamp successfully.
