Juan Ruzafa obtains UNE-ISO/IEC 27002 certification
Dated March 3, 2010, with the aim to strengthen value services offered to its clients, Juan Ruzafa has obtained the certification Foundations in the Management of the Safety of the Information according to UNE-ISO/IEC 27002.
The ISO/IEC 27002 standard is a set of recommendations for the adoption of a model of processes that allows to provide security in the management of the information in a way that complies with business requirements, legality in force and privacy of the clients and users of an Information system. ISO 27002 is the international standard that has its origin in the British standard BS7799-2, that collects a set of best practices to provide security to the ICT provision and service management. In Spain receives the name UNE-ISO/IEC 27002 and is integrated within the set of standards regulated by AENOR.
The certification in standards of the family ISO/IEC 27000 is of two types: personal and company. The personal certification guarantees that the possessor knows standards adopted by the ISO standard/IEC 27000 on the security in the processes of ICT services management and delivery, whereas the certification of a company anounces that an organisation has adopted the standard for a determined set of activities and has passed an external audit that gives the official stamp successfully.
